NEW YORK -- The Orlando Sharks drafted Ronald Wray #1 overall in the 2034 draft. The 5' 9" CB fits the team's needs perfectly. Said Sharks general manager: "It's up to us to develop him and get good players around him."

"The great thing about the game of football is, it's a team game," Wray said on a conference call. "I'm just going to be one piece of the puzzle."

Moore and Nox Mock Draft

Pick 1: Orlando Sharks
Larry Moore: Glenn Bobbitt - QB
The guy has his head on straight. He takes care of his teammates. Most everyone who ever played with him, counts him as their friend. Plays with decent intelligence. Nothing to think about here. Pick up the kid, bring him into the building, put him om the field.

Jim Nox: Harold Shanks - T
This is a kid who will shoulder any blame. Scouts love his understanding for opening running lanes in the running game. Something that scouts highight is how well he pass blocks. You do not pick him this high if he could not protect the QB. Ohh are they going to be happy to get him. He is a great fit here.

Pick 2: Chicago Rats
Larry Moore: Roosevelt Wagner - QB
His love for winning leads him to push himself hard, setting an example for everyone. He has good throwing mechanics. With this kid, this is a need pick they will not regret.

Jim Nox: James Adams - CB
Raised to know the value of hard work. This kid breeds synergy, teams play better when he is on the field. He is driven by the love of the sport. They need him now. Well yesterday actually. They will love him tomorrow. They will revere him by the end of his career.

Pick 3: Sao Paulo Cheetahs
Larry Moore: Philip Rivers - DE
Loyal to the bone. You give him a chance and he will never abandon you. This kid never gives up, losing is unacceptable to him. Would occasionally flatten offensive linemen in college. Even in the pros, opponents better not try to block him with a Tight End or Running Back. Understands the game well. Knows what to do in different situations. Plug a hole in the roster with a great player. That is really what they need to do. This pick does it.

Jim Nox: Thanh St. Pierre - DE
Not afraid to lead. His college coaches talk highly of his work ethic. Well liked in the locker room. Will never become a speed rush specialist, but has sufficient speed to become a prototype Defensive End. Consistently takes down ball carrier on tackles. It is not often that the talent available fits perfectly with what you need. When it does, it makes for a win-win situation. This young man is going to be put in a position to succeed.

Pick 4: Ottawa Rough Riders
Larry Moore: Thanh St. Pierre - DE
A leader on the field and in the locker room. Here is a kid who no one doubts will put in the work. Here you have a guy, who really benefits the atmosphere in the building. Everyone wants to be around him. More than enough speed for the position. This will become evident as he develops. On tape you clearly see that he is a good tackler. Fans might not be on board with what can be framed as a need pick. But trust me once they see this kid play, they will be more than happy.

Jim Nox: Wayne Jasper - DE
His good natured behavior, even toward opponents have earned him some criticism, but also an awful lot of respect. This young man is fast enough to drop even the fast RBs for losses is they come his way. Consistently takes down ball carrier when he gets his hands on him. Smart player. Good understanding of how plays develop, and where to be. Are there other guys worth picking here? Sure, but none of them fit this well with what they need, and he is a solid talent.

Pick 5: Ocean City Hammerheads
Larry Moore: James Adams - CB
This kid is not afraid to work hard. What you get with this kid, is a guy who understands that this is a team sport. Respected for his good behavior on the field. He addresses a need for them.

Jim Nox: Shane Fields - LB
Due to his work ethic, this kid is very coachable. Liked by coaches and teammates. Has developed nice strength for being this early in his career. Pretty bright kid. A player that fits their needs. The promise of a future star. This will be great for the franchise.

Pick 6: Iowa Barnstormers
Larry Moore: Harold Shanks - T
Once you have forged a bond with this kid, he will stand by you to hell and back. Nice blocking skills on run plays. He will contribute to the running game. Something that scouts highight is how well he pass blocks. You do not pick him this high if he could not protect the QB. This guy is available. This guy fills a need. They have to take him. It makes so much sense.

Jim Nox: Robert Keating - LB
Has developed nice strength for being this early in his career. Offenses will need to keep tabs on him. He will close down fairly quickly if left unblocked. He is a smart kid, and it shows when he plays. You need him, just get him already.

Pick 7: Maine Pines
Larry Moore: Shaun Seaton - C
Pass blocking against professional players makes for a difficult transition from college. But the tape indicates he will do well in that regard. Bright kid, reacts well on the field. Do not be afraid to draft a position of need here. This kid is well worthy of a pick this early. Perfect situation for him, and great fit for the team.

Jim Nox: Shaun Seaton - C
He pass blocks really well. He is smart, and plays with good instincts. They will be running to the podium for this one.

Pick 8: Philadelphia Storm
Larry Moore: Carroll Castro - FS
Here is a kid who will go through fire for his coaches and teammates. Wraps up tackles well. Has good instincts on the field. Fans, coaches, and teammates alike will be ecstatic to get him on the team. He fits what they need, he is such a great talent. Everything lines up.

Jim Nox: Carroll Castro - FS
Here is a kid who will go through fire for his coaches and teammates. Consistent tackler. Reacts quickly and puts himself in a position to make a play. Once this kid gets in the building, they will be set at this position for years.

Pick 9: Vienna Vanguard
Larry Moore: Vincent Beall - C
Raised to know the value of hard work. Respected for his good behavior on the field. This kid never gives up, losing is unacceptable to him. Something that scouts highight is how well he pass blocks. You do not pick him this high if he could not protect the QB. Pretty smart. He addresses a need for them.

Jim Nox: Vincent Beall - C
Due to his work ethic, this kid is very coachable. Sportsmanship, love of the sport and respect, is what you get with him. This is a kid, where if you are winning he will shine, but he might have trouble with adversity. He pass blocks really well. Educated well. Shows good understanding of the game. Take the blue-chip player. Do not worry about sexier picks. He fits what you need and the quality is there.

Pick 10: Tampa Bay Cannons
Larry Moore: Shane Fields - LB
Knows what it takes to achieve success at any level. Here you have a guy, who really benefits the atmosphere in the building. Everyone wants to be around him. Coaches like his strength. I do too. It will benefit him greatly on the field. Will not have a hard time digesting a pro playbook. He fills a need for them. They will be happy to get him.

Jim Nox: Michael Taber - FS
His love for winning leads him to push himself hard, setting an example for everyone. Speedy enough to cover. Will need to cushion a bit on the faster receivers, but they will account for that in the play design. He is a well developed tackler, this is something teams look for. It saves a lot of time when the fundamentals are good. Plays with great insticts. They would be crazy not to take him here. A great fit, both in terms of what they need and the quality of player they get. This will put a smile on many faces.
