Moore and Nox Mock Draft

Pick 1: Circle City Football Club
Larry Moore: Lance France - QB
Plays with decent intelligence. He has good throwing mechanics. And his arm? Oh boy! They almost have to make this pick. You do not want to look back in five years and see this kid on another team knowing he could have been yours.

Jim Nox: James Farr - LB
He brings nice strength to the table. This is important because often his role will to keep contain. You cannot do that if you are on your back. He is going to get so many sacks, just from his speed alone. Elite speed coming of the edge is what you are paying for with this young man. Do not fret. You need him, fans love him. Surefire pick.

Pick 2: Tampa Bay Cannons
Larry Moore: Jeffrey Anderson - CB
Not afraid to lead. This kid breeds synergy, teams play better when he is on the field. Fans might not be on board with what can be framed as a need pick. But trust me once they see this kid play, they will be more than happy.

Jim Nox: Frank Perez - T
His college coaches talk highly of his work ethic. He will occasionally throw of defenders to the ground when blocking them. Has nice technique when blocking on run plays. Keeps his leverage and finishes his blocks. Pretty fast learner. He addresses a need for them.

Pick 3: Detroit Demons
Larry Moore: Frank Perez - T
The guy has his head on straight. Do not underestimate the strength this kid brings to the table. If you go to his tape, you will se he run blocks very well. He is a smart kid, and it shows when he plays. With this kid, this is a need pick they will not regret.

Jim Nox: David Price - G
Rarely do a player this young bench pres this much. This kind of physical foundation given him an incredible ceiling. Nice blocking skills on run plays. He will contribute to the running game. Has good instincts on the field. This guy is available. This guy fills a need. They have to take him. It makes so much sense.

Pick 4: Denver Eagles
Larry Moore: Jack Greene - DT
Due to his work ethic, this kid is very coachable. His good natured behavior, even toward opponents have earned him some criticism, but also an awful lot of respect. Known among his teammates as a bit of a goofball, but never in a bad way. The kind that keeps spirits high even when a season goes south. Has never been known for his speed. But he is pretty fast, and definitely fast enough to harass Quarterbacks up the middle. Takes in instructions well. They need players at the position, and good ones at that. He fits the bill, he is worth the pick. End of story.

Jim Nox: Andrew Cooley - RB
Known for showing up early and staying late. Liked by coaches and teammates. Gets past defenders with his quickness. His strength is good, and will only get better with professional training. Might not be what fans want, but there is a reason people are getting paid to make these decisions. This is a rock solid pick, and he fits what they are looking for. Fans will come around quickly once they see him play.

Pick 5: Rome Gladiators
Larry Moore: James Farr - LB
Strong enough to flatten smaller blockers. And strong enough to not be flattened by the bigger ones. A kid who is faster than most linebackers. Really a hybrid kind of guy. Coming of the edge with that speed will give blockers fits. He fills a need for them. They will be happy to get him.

Jim Nox: Jeffrey Anderson - CB
This is a player who takes the lead. Raised to know the value of teamwork. He addresses a need for them.

Pick 6: Orlando Sharks
Larry Moore: Nelson Skelton - SS
Raised to know the value of hard work. He is fundamentally a good kid. You rarely see him commit stupid penalties. He has enough speed that you can ask him to do a lot of different things. No point in getting to the ball carrier if you cannot take him down. This kid tackles well. That is something teams are looking at. Pretty smart. He can do what they want. He will deliver results early. He fits a need. End of story.

Jim Nox: Jose Shaver - WR
Well liked in the locker room. Has pro ready catching ability, and that is what you are lookng for if you are going to take a receiver this high. Not a speedster per se, but faster than he is given credit for. They need playmakers at this position. This is what they are getting here. Solid pick.

Pick 7: Vienna Vanguard
Larry Moore: Taylor Bear - DE
Definitely good strength for a Defensive End. Will shed blocks and occasionally bull rush smaller opponents. You want your Linebackers to tackle. This guy is pretty good at that. He fills a need for them. Great pick here.

Jim Nox: Jack Greene - DT
This guy understands what it means to be a pro. He is driven by the love of the sport. Liked by coaches and teammates. People always rave about speed. This young man has more than enough speed for the position. You do not need to run tack to get sacks. Can be relied upon to understand his role on any given play. Fans, coaches, and teammates alike will be ecstatic to get him on the team. He fits what they need, he is such a great talent. Everything lines up.

Pick 8: Washington Guardians
Larry Moore: David Price - G
With the amount this youngster can already benchpres, he will only ever have to focus on improving technique. This kid is already a pretty good blocker in the running game. He will only get better as he refines his technique. Makes smart decisions. Fits nicely with their needs. Fits nicely with the draft spot. Getting it right is important with these early picks. This guy is right.

Jim Nox: Roger Schoonover - LB
A leader on the field and in the locker room. 'Team player', this is the correct term for him. He makes everyone around him better. His good natured behavior, even toward opponents have earned him some criticism, but also an awful lot of respect. Strength is definitely one of his premier qualities. It will serve him well. Pretty clever. A player that fits their needs. The promise of a future star. This will be great for the franchise.

Pick 9: Perth Bushrangers
Larry Moore: Andrew Cooley - RB
Raised to know the value of hard work. Well liked in the locker room. Good change of direction ability. Is not widely considered a power runner, but is strong enough to run through you if underestimated. People always say you should not prioritize needs over quality. That is not an issue here, they get to have their cake and eat it too.

Jim Nox: Lance France - QB
He makes smart decisions with the ball. Already making good throws, and that is even with no seasons of pro training. The ball leaves his hand at great speed. He can deliver the ball anywhere on the field at the blink of an eye. Blue-chip player. Exactly what they look for. Add a young talent to a roster thin at the position, a great fit.

Pick 10: Chicago Chickles
Larry Moore: Roger Schoonover - LB
Not afraid to lead. I want this kid on my team. He understands his role on the field, and how it fits in with what everyone else is doing. Sportsmanship, love of the sport and respect, is what you get with him. Could almost play Defensive End, he is that strong. Coaches love that versatility. Makes smart decisions. Blue-chip player. Exactly what they look for. Add a young talent to a roster thin at the position, a great fit.

Jim Nox: Clifton Gilliland - LB
His good natured behavior, even toward opponents have earned him some criticism, but also an awful lot of respect. Has sufficient strength to play with the big boys in the pros. You better have some athletic offensive linemen if you hope to block this kid. Lightning fast first step and amazing closing speed. he will be a terror for Quarterbacks for years to come. This guy is available. This guy fills a need. They have to take him. It makes so much sense.
